Day 2 - Summer Solstice

Saturday 21st June -  4:30am start

Up and at ‘em by 04:30am … you know you will love us. It will be worth it!

Solstice celebrations at L- Imnajdra followed by a visit to Ħaġar Qim which is on the same site.

We will be following the Maltese guides for the actual Solstice event and respecting their rules surrounding this and then after this we are more or less free to do our own thing which will include some sound work (drum, flute, voice etc) and meditation time.

Then back to the accommodation where you will have the remainder of the day to sleep and/or process, explore, go to the beach etc.

We will come back together at 19:15 to experience a shamanic sound bath, meditation and healing on Dingli Cliffs.

Day 3

Sunday 22nd June

Visit the Temple of Ħal Tarxien. Private visit.

We will also visit Marsaxlokk which is a traditional Maltese fishing village with a small market and lots of restaurants on the harbour, so you will have a couple of hours downtime to explore here.

Then onwards to Għar Dalam cave.

Free time in the late afternoon and evening.

Day 4

Monday 23rd June

Trip to Valetta - the capital of Malta

We will be going via Birgu (one of the '3 Cities'), ferry over the harbour to Valetta and then up the Barrakka Lift to Upper Barrakka Gardens where there are amazing views.

From there we will make our way to the Museum of Archaeology where we will see many of the original Temple findings and much more.

Free time to explore Valetta before returning.

Day 5

Tuesday 24th June

A very special last full day as we will have private access to Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum and it's Oracle Room, either first thing in the morning or the evening. This is a very special Neolithic underground Temple with outstanding acoustics.

We are very excited to be taking you here. We will be sounding and drumming in there if permitted to do so. Resonant sound in the frequency of 110hz would have been “switching on” an area of the brain that bio-behavioural scientists believe relates to mood, empathy and social behaviour. Researchers detected the presence of a strong double resonance frequency at 70Hz and 114Hz.  It is a roofed, underground temple.

Day 6

Wednesday 25th June - Quest ends at Midday

Joining together to assimilate and consolidate the 5 days.

Sharing and closing ceremony.

Free time to integrate and chill.

We may meet in the evening for a parting meal together (shared costs)

The itinerary may be subject to slight changes at times as we allow for flow and ebb

Don't hesitate to contact us if you need any information, you will find our contact form on Contact Us page

Faye and Clare look forward to welcoming you to Malta and to not only a journey of discovery of these Temple sites, Malta and her energies but also one of self discovery as we journey together, learning and growing from one another and from the explorations we experience.
